Our Typical Methodology

  • Convert a client's ideas or issues into a white paper
    • Metaphors and storytelling are key to successful communications with the decision-maker
    • Include the "business case perspective"--public policy issues, tradeoffs involved--from the decision-maker's point of view
  • Research and identify the decision-makers, the decision-making process
  • Cultivate champions (members from home district and/or members on the relevant Appropriations and Authorization committees/subcommittees)
  • Agree on a strategy and timetable for execution of the campaign
  • Construct a strategic mapping template
  • Make the call(s), close the deal, or advise what is needed to achieve success
Deep Dive Campaigns
"Deep Dive" areas portend for dramatic change and provide great revenue potential to companies that develop appropriate solutions. "Deep Dive" is a K&A service. The service consists of obtaining customized, proprietary information at the request of a client. K&A shares this research securely in virtual workspaces, using collaborative tools. This proprietary research enables K&A to partner with clients and map strategies. Current "deep dives" range from identifying key funding and research in abrupt climate change to tracking addressable budgets within specific government agencies.
